Memory is a complex experience that this blog oversimplifies. Actually, the earliest memories, like archeological artifacts, are encoded into the structure of the mind/brain from PRE-birth. An adult born to an alcohol abuser carries that memory for a lifetime in the appearance of his face and structure of his brain, as is a neglected baby or one who has been abused.
